A Landscape Of My Own Never Did Exist
Photographic Series, 2014 - 2016
For the series A Landscape of my Own Never Did Exist, I was inspired by the American geographer Carl O. Sauer. Sauer explained the term Natural Landscape as "a theoretical concept which never did exist". The series consists of merged photographs taken in specific locations with which I have strong emotional ties, These new merged landscapes have become one, specific to my own gaze and can no longer exist outside their joined creation.
